  • Applicants must have 5+ years international ocean NVOCC & freight forwarding experience with an emphasis on NVOCC operations and FMC compliance.

International Operations – DFW

Job description

Team Worldwide Dallas Branch Office is currently interviewing for the position of an International Operations Agent. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years experience, entry to associate level, in freight forwarding, import/export operations preferably with both Air and Ocean experience.

Candidate will perform a variety of duties in support of the Branch Office’s international activities. Candidate will assist in the growth of the Branch and the recruitment and training of additional staff members to fill various roles as needed. 


  • Freight Forwarding experience booking International Exports and Import shipments via air and ocean
  • Schedule, price, and trace International air, ocean and surface shipments with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A good understanding of Customs processes, duties, VAT, clearance, etc., with the ability to proactively identify potential issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Serve as the relationship manager to develop new client relationships and capitalize on existing client relationships to uncover new opportunities for the freight organization
  • Build value-added services for the client on freight and logistics operations in collaboration with sales and operations
  • Experience in finding new overseas agents, air/ocean carriers
  • Flexibility to cross-train and perform other duties
  • Export quotes – both customer and agent as needed on occasion
  • Agent and office communications
  • Compliance – internal and external
  • Coordinating  return of shipments
  • Shipment accounting for customer invoicing
