Operations/Customer Service Position – Detroit, MI

Team Worldwide DTW Branch Office is seeking resumes for an Operations/Customer Service Position.  Must have freight forwarding experience.  Seeking a morning person to start the daily operations.  Willing to train in needed areas and invest in the right person.  Desired experience includes but not limited to:

  • Air (domestic and international) operations
  • Ground (Line Haul, FTL and LTL) operations
  • Freight operations management
  • Ocean knowledge/experience a plus
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Morning person

Responsibilities:

  • Cartage and carrier dispatch
  • Day-to-day operations, shipment and AES entry
  • Customer service & communications
  • Agent and Branch Office communications
  • Quotes
  • Routing of shipments 
  • Compliance – internal and external
  • Shipment accounting for customer invoicing – data entry
  • Work with the sales teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction and revenue generation
